One day online Workshop in collaboration with Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) USA organized on 28th September 2020

Notice Regarding Web of Science Workshop 

The Department of Bioresources organized an online workshop (Webinar) in collaboration with Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) on the topic entitled “Demonstration and understanding the tools /indices of Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics): An opportunity to learn an Excel” on Monday 28th September, 2020. There were more than 600 participants who attended the workshop through the Webex cisco software. The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Shakeel A. Romshoo, Dean Research University of Kashmir who also delivered the Key note address of workshop. He highlighted the importance of the citation indexing database Web of Science. Dr Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Coordinator Department of Bioresources delivered the welcome address, introduction to the workshop and details about Web of Science. He welcomed all the participants and thanked Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Talat Ahmad the Chief Patron of the Workshop for his support. Prof. Akbar Masood, the Dean Academic Affairs University of Kashmir was the guest of honour. The question answer regarding various indices of Web of Science and the recently launched Endnote 9X session was conducted at the end of the workshop. The workshop concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Manzoor Ahmad Mir. Who thanked all the stake holders who participated in the workshop and the entire team from Web of Science. Dr Manzoor in his concluding remarks said that we here at Department of Bioresources will continue with the webinar series for the benefit of teachers and scholars/students.
